How to keep your pet Happy & Safe on Bonfire Night 🐢πŸ”₯

Hey Guys!

Bonfire Night is such fun magical night of the year filled with amazing bonfires and crazy fireworks. However some of our more fluffy friends may not enjoy this night as much as we do. My dog doesn't actually struggle massively with the noise on bonfire night as she's pretty chill however I know that some pets get super nervous and scared. So I thought this would be a cute little post where I can share with you guys a few things I do to keep my pet happy and safe when the fireworks and bonfires come out with a bang.

So here's a few tips and trips to keeping your pet safe and happy for when the fireworks are in full swing!

1) When taking your pet out for walks try and go during the day when it's light outside as there is likely to be less fireworks at this time (If you have a cat try and keep them inside as much as possible)

2) Close windows and pull on the curtains to try and block out the noise of the fireworks.

3) Create a few hiding places in quiet areas of your house so your pet has areas to go to and feel safe.

4) Play music or have the TV on to create some familiar noise to block out the noise of the fireworks.

5) Leave internal doors open so your pet doesn't feel trapped and can move around the house in the areas they are used to.

So this post was a little random and was a little short but I thought I would just share these five handy tips with you guys on how to keep your pet safe and happy on bonfire night so that if your pet gets nervous at this time of year this post may help you cheer them up.

Autumn / Halloween Photo Prop Ideas πŸ‚πŸ“·

Hey Guys!

I love the Autumn time a lot and Halloween is pretty much my fave holiday so I love making my blog look as seasonal as possible at this time of year. There's a ton of ways you can do this but one thing is using autumnal / Halloween props in your photos. I use props all year round when taking flat lays or photos of products as I think they just add a cute finishing touch to the photo's. However, in the Autumn time I love to add seasonal props to my photos to add a cosy effect. So for today's post I thought I would share a few prop ideas for your photos to make them a little more Autumnal at this amazing time of year.

1) Pumpkins!

Pumpkins are my absolute favourite thing to add to my photos at this time of year as they are such a perfect Halloween/Autumn item and they are so cute! I use a variety of pumpkins from fake ones, to real ones all shapes and sizes. I honestly love that they automatically make your photo stand out as being from the Autumn /Halloween period. These are a few pumpkins I use in my photo.

2) Fairy Lights

I have fairy lights everywhere in the Autumn/winter time as they are an essential when it comes to making a house/room feel cosy. I also love to use them as a photo prop as they have the same effect when using them in a picture.

3) Candles

Again candles are an essential when it comes to creating a cosy atmosphere and some of them are hella cute. The cute colours generally tie in with the photos and again I love the cute cosy vibe they add to a photo.

4) Themed Confetti

Confetti is one of my go-to props when it comes to taking photos especially product photos as they can be used in the background of flat lays adding a seasonal touch without taking over the whole image. I have currently been loving this Halloween themed confetti.

5) Halloween Decor

Finally the last prop I love to use in my Halloween photos are just little Halloween nick knacks you can pick up at this time of year. I generally find most of these items in the pound shops and Halloween aisles in the supermarkets. They can be super effective to add a cute spooky touch to your photos and can be so affordable to pick them up.

So that's a few of my go-to props to add a spooky / seasonal effect to my photos. I hope this may have inspired you if you are a fellow blogger or just enjoy taking photo's in general.

Halloween Movie List πŸ‘»πŸ§‘

Hey Guys!

Halloween is quickly approaching so theres not a better time to get together with some friends and family and watch some scary movies. With this in mind I thought I would put together a little list of films you could watch if you need some inspo. There's a mixture of scary films and the not so spooky kind so there's a little something for everyone. I don't think I'll be having a party this year so I think I may have a few friends around for a evening of pumpkin carving, spooky movies and snacks to celebrate. Therefore Ill be watching a few of these movies over the spooky season.

Here's the ones I picked out:

- Hocus Pocus
- IT
-Halloween Town
-Ghostbusters
- Zombieland
- Scream
- Monster House
- The Nightmare Before Christmas
- All Hallows' Eve
- Trick R Treat
- Teen Witch
- Frankenweenie
- Buffy The Vampire Slayer
- Casper
- Coraline
- Goosebumps
- The Conjuring
-Coco
- Gremlins
 - Harry Potter (Not very spooky but always watch this in the autumn so gives me cosy vibes)

So that's my top movies I would recommend you watch if you are looking for some spooky inspo for your Halloween movie nights. I would love to know if theres any Halloween movies you love?

Pumpkin Picking 2018 πŸŽƒ

Hey Guys!

This year me and my friends headed back to Farmer Copley's in Pontefract for our annual trip to the the Pumpkin Festival event. It was raining very badly so we debated putting it off but as this was the best weekend to go for everyone we decided to brave the cold and headed over there anyway to get some pumpkins. Of course there was a ton of pumpkin themed things going on as usual from pumpkin rides, to face painting, pumpkin carving to munching on some homemade toffee apples and of course we picked up some pumpkins ready for Halloween. This is hands down the thing I look forward to the most in the autumn time every year it is such an Autumnal day out and it is just such a pretty place that I can never resist taking a crap ton of pictures (Very wet and miserable this year though so the pictures aren't as cute as normal).
I would totally recommend you visit farmer Copley's if you live anywhere near by (maybe aim for a dry day) as there is a little something for everyone and it is really great if you have any kids. However we mainly headed here for the pick your own pumpkins and we weren't disappointed, there was fields and fields of pumpkins of all shapes colours and sizes. We picked up quite a few pumpkins in preparation for Halloween then had a little walk around the festival.
Here's some pictures from the day.

So that's all the pictures I got from our very muddy autumnal trip out, I hope you enjoyed the post and we still had a great time despite the being wet cold and muddy!
